Alliance Bantam Showcase
The past weekend the Cyclone Bantams participated in the Alliance Showcase in Komoka, Ontario where they would go 1 - 2- 1.  All Alliance Bantam teams particiapte in the tournament like weekend where each team would play 4 games over the weekend.

Game 1 on Friday afternoon would see the Cyclones play the Huron Perth Lakers.  Huron Perth would win 3 -1 with 3 power play goals against the Cyclones.  Nick Delyzer would get the only goal for Chatham.  MVP of the game was Ross Krieger

Game two would be early Saturday morning vs the Brantford 99'ers.  The game would end in a 3 - 3 tie with again the 99'ers scoring 2 of their 3 on the power play.  The Cyclones would battle hard all game to overcome 11 minor penalties called against them. With 5 penalties in the third they managed 25 shots on goal for a game total of 49.  Brady Pataki would score two and one from Bradley Maxim.  Helpers came from Ross Krieger, Nick Delyzer and 2 from Levi Tetrault.  MVP of the game was Brady Pataki.

Game 3 in under 24 hrs would see the Cyclones against the Cambridge Hawks and once again the Cyclones would have to overcome 9 minor penalties to battle to a 7 - 5 win. Blair Derynck would lead the Cyclones with 4 goals including a nice short handed goal.  Nick Delyzer, Ross Krieger and Kyle Dawson would also score.  Helpers would go to Pataki (3), Tetrault (2), Krieger, Dawson, Pegg, Hakr, Fife, Delyzer and Capstick.  MVP of the game would go to Derynck.

Game 4 Sunday morning would see our trend continue as we fought through 9 minor penalties in a 4- 1 loss to the Waterloo Wolves.  Scoring the lone goal for Chatham was Brady Pataki, assisted by Brendan Harrogate.  Kyle Dawson was named game MVP.

The boys will have a much needed rest before next weekends rematch verse the Lakers at Memorial.
