Cyclones Eliminated From Playdowns
The Major Bantam Cyclones traveled to Komoka on Tuesday for what proved to be their final game of the Alliance Playdowns.
Elgin opened the scoring on their first shift to put the boys in an early hole. Brendan Harrogate replied midway through the first on a feed from Levi Tetrault.
The Chiefs scored on their first shift of the 2nd period and followed it up with 3 more before Nick Delyzer got one of his own on a tip in of a shot from Matthew Jakubowski from Ross Krieger.
That proved to be the final as there was no scoring in the 3rd. Joseph Raaymakers took the loss in net.
The boys open a series against the Windsor Jr Spitfires Wednesday Feb 6th at Memorial in their first round of the Alliance Playoffs.
