Cyclones Heading to Alliance Playoff Semis
The Bantam Cyclones will get a rematch with the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs after trumping Windsor 6pts to 2 in an Alliance Playoff Series.

Chatham got off to a slow start against the Spitfires losing the first game of the series 5-3. Kyle Dawson led the way with 2 goals and an assist. Nick Delyzer potted the other goal. Brendan Harrogate, Levi Tetrault, Ross Krieger and Phil Clarke all had a helper. Nolan Hakr took the loss in net.
The next 3 games saw a different Cyclone team take the ice. In game 2 the Cyclones skated away with a 4-1 win with Joe Raaymakers shutout bid ending on a late goal by the Spits. Matthew Jakubowski had a goal and an assist. Patrick Wright, Brendan Harrogate and Bradley Maxim also scored. Assists went to Brady Pataki, Levi Tetrault, Kyle Dawson and Brayden Pegg.
Nolan Hakr got the shutout in game 3 and Nick Delyzer got what proved to be the winning goal late in the first to lead the boys to a 4-0 victory. Brayden Pegg and Brendan Harrogate each had a goal and an assist with Matthew Jakubowski closing out the scoring. Single assists went to Pataki, Krieger, Tetrault and Maxim.
Game 4 was Joseph Raaymakers turn to shine in net as the Clones shut out the Spits 2-0. Brendan Harrogate scored the winner on a feed from Phil Clarke early in the first. Late in the second Brady Pataki got the insurance marker with Levi Tetrault picking up and assist.
The Cyclones advance to the Alliance playoffs Semis where they will face the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs. Stay tuned.....
