A pre-Christmas bought on December 23 between the Cylcones and Panthers would end in a tie. Each side would score a power play goal, scoring for Chatham was Ben Nichols - unassisted.
Minor Bantams 4 - Sun County 1
In a New Years rematch the Cyclones would start the year with a win. Scoring for the Cyclones was Blair Derynck, Brady Pataki, Brendan Harrogate and Ross Krieger. Krieger (2), Dawson, Nichols and Delyzer would all add helpers.
Minor Bantams 5 - Lambton Jr Sting 2
Looking to continue the New Year streak with another win the Cyclones jumped out to a 1 goal lead in the first with a goal from Brady Pataki from Krieger and Dawson. The second period would prove to be a battle for the Cyclone both on the ice and in the box. Down two players on penalties the Sting would capitalize with two goals to end the period up by one. The scrape between periods seemed to spark the boys as they would rally back in the third with 4 unanswered goals. Scoring were Ross Krieger, Phillip Clarke, Patrick Wright and Brendan Harrogate added an empty netter. Helpers would go to Dawson (2), Wright, Fife, Krieger and Delyzer.
