Minor Bantams run out of time on Weekend
After 12 days off with no games the Minor Bantams were back in action this past weekend with their final road game and the start of a three game home stand to finish off the regular season.

Saturday the Minor Bantams would travel to Komoka for their final road game of the regular season vs the Chiefs.  Knocking the rust off a 12 day lay off the Cyclones would jump out to a 1 - 0 lead but see the Chiefs climb back to tie it up after one period of play.  Nick Delyzer would score the opener on a breakaway on a nice feed from Brandon Brower.  Chatham would regain there one goal lead again with a second goal from Delyzer.  Once again the Chiefs would mount a come back and score two of their own before the end of the second.  The third period would see no scoring and the Cyclones would run out of time in the game.

Sunday would be a home game vs the Lambton Jr Sting - With the super bowl weighing on both teams minds the game would be a penalty filled bout that resembled football at times more then hockey.  The Jr Sting would skate away with a 4 - 3 win.  Scoring for the Cyclones were Ben Nicholls and Kyle Fife (2) with assist going to Kyle Dawson, Luke Van Rycheghem, Brendan Harrogate, Patrick Wright, Brady Pataki and Blair Derynck.

Heres to a good week of practice as we look forward to two home games this upcoming weekend to finish the regular season.
