Minor Bantams win Race to 6
The 4th seeded Minor Bantams would be matched against the first place London Gold squad for round 1 of the Alliance championship.

Game 1 on Feb. 18th would see the Minor Bantams travel to London where they would battle hard for the ever important first win of the series.  The Cyclones would come out on top with a 2 -1 win.

Game 2 would be the next day back in Bothwell where London would get out to a 1 - 0 lead in the first but the resilient Cyclones would get one back in third to tie the game.  Overtime would not solve anything and the game would end in a tie.

Game 3 back in London  on the 24th would see the cyclones fight for and hang on to a 1 - 0 win giving them a 5 points to 1 lead in the series, a tie or a win in game 4 would vault them into the second round.

Game 4 at Memorial would not disappoint and like the previous three games it would be a fight by both sides for goals.  Chatham would again force OT on a late goal in the third to make it 2 -2 and end the game in a tie.

The Minor Bantam Cyclones would win the race to 6 points and eliminate the first place Knights to move onto the second round.

Congratulations to all the boys on a hard fought, never give up series.  Every position from the net out had to work every shift to ward off the Jr Knights.

Congratulations to the London boys also as they fought through every game.  No more then 2 goals were scored by either side in any game and every game was decided by one goal or less.  Good luck in your next round.
