Playoff Finals - Game 2 in Cambridge
It was another chess match in Game 2 Sunday. A Tic-Tack-Toe play on the PP from Bacik to Stonehouse and finally to Veccia made it 1-1 to end the 2nd. Tre Altiman put up a brick wall in the second half of the game giving the Cyclones a chance to steal on the road. The Cyclones remained well disciplined throughout this flurry and Cameron Graham gained back the lead in the 3rd. Relentlessly, Cambridge responded to tie it 2-2. Now, 4 minutes left and on the PP, Gagner drives the net and Stonehouse bangs it home. Another exciting finish (1 minute left, draw in Cyclone zone, Cambridge goalie pulled), the Cyclones chipped the puck out and Stonehouse sealed the win in the empty net.
