Playdowns - Series 2 opener
The Major Atom Cyclones AAA opened the second series of playdowns today on the snowy road in Elgin-Middlesex. With a solid effort from the team and outshooting their opponent 19-13, the Cyclones came up short in game one with a 3-1 loss.
A flury of offense late in the third period generated the only lone goal by Stonehouse from Gagner and Gardiner.
Game 2 at home Sunday at Memorial Arena.
