Playoffs - Feb 27 at Memorial vs EMC
The Minor PeeWee's met EMC in game 2 of their round robin playoff pool on Saturday in a tight match. Scoreless after one period, EMC opened scoring early in the second and held a 3-1 lead early in the third.
A definite turning point in the game happened late in the second when the puck landed on a wide open EMC player in the slot with a gapping net available only to be denied by the flash of Tre Altiman's leather glove. The Cyclones began their comeback and even after Overtime, the game ended 3-3.
Scoring provided by Stonehouse (x2) and Gagner. Assists came to Edwards, Veccia (x2), Holmes and Ewald.
Game 3 is Friday in Tilbury against Sun County.
