In the second road game this weekend, the Cyclones held a commanding 4-1 lead going into the third period. With the bench short due to injuries and suspensions, the team rallied and showed great energy and attention to detail for two periods. But the offensive threat and likely some fatigue in the third period allowed Elgin to reply with 4 unanswered goals locking things back up with a 5-5 final.
Scoring came from: Kelton Jack (2), Colin Holmes (2) and Zander Veccia
Assists on those goals came from: Alec Webster (2), Tyler Ewald (2), Ryan Gagner, Alex Edwards and Zander Veccia
