Sunday saw the Cyclones back at home against the Sting. Shots were 15-20 in favour of Lambton but the Cyclones held up an early lead to win 4-3. Further round robin playoffs continued this past weekend with the Minor Atom AAA Cyclones facing Lambton in a home and away series.  The Cyclones dropped the first game 4-2 with an empty net goal to put the pressure on for Sunday's match up. Shots were 25-22 in favour of the Cyclones. Scoring came from: (1) Ryan Gagner assisted by Zander Veccia and Cameron Graham (2) Brady Stonehouse assisted by Blake Tinline

The Minor Atom AAA Cyclones opened the 2014 Playoffs Sunday in Bothwell against Windsor.  The Cyclones took the first game of this 2 game series with a score of 3-1. Shots were 21-16 in favour of the Cyclones. Scoring came from: (1) Brady Stonehouse from Natalie Bray and Colin Holmes (2) Cameron Graham unassisted (3) Brady Stonehouse from Colin Holmes and Zander Veccia The next game is Friday night with Windsor hosting.

The Minor Atom AAA Cyclones were shutout 3-0 Saturday in Elgin-Middlesex to end the first round of playdowns. Shots on goal were a rare 27-13 in favour of Elgin. The Cyclones will now move into the playoff pool starting with Windsor and Lambton this coming weekend.

The Minor Atom AAA Cyclones held off elimination again Thursday night in Bothwell with a 3-3 tie to Elgin-Middlesex. Shots were 26-25 in favour of the Cyclones. Scoring came from: (1) Brady Stonehouse from Blain Bacik (2) Ryan Gagner from Cameron Graham (3) Mason Myers from Alec Webster and Beau Depencier Next game back in Elgin this Saturday 12:15pm and with plans to see a final deciding game back in Bothwell Monday.
