Introducing U14 Head Coach Ryan Paxton
2026-27 Chatham-Kent AAA Cyclones U14 Head Coach Ryan Paxton is returning for another season at the helm.
Born and raised in Chatham, Ryan began his coaching career with Kent Minor Hockey AA Midget program. He then moved up to the Junior C PJHL program for the next 10 years with stops in Dresden, Wallaceburg, and Blenheim. The past 2 seasons found Ryan coaching at the AAA level first with the 2009 U16 Chatham-Kent Cyclones and currently wit the 2010 U16 Chatham-Kent Cyclones.
Ryan is looking forward to next season and the opportunity to coach the 2013 group. He excited to get started and had this to say :
"I am very appreciative of the opportunity to lead this team into next season. Being around Junior hockey for so many years I want to prepare these young men for the next chapter in their hockey careers. They all have the dream of playing at a high level and I will push them to be the best they can be. I will handle this team like a Junior program to get them ready for the next few years coming up as they take on the most exciting years in hockey coming up. This past season we preached Respect and Communication from day 1 of tryouts, and it was great to see those young men work hard and have fun again playing a game they love."
Ryan is looking forward to helping these young players in their development both on and off the ice.
