Phase 2 Session Cancelation due to Provincial Lockdown
Submitted By Jack Brown on Tue 12 22, 20
Hello Parents,

As you may already know Ontario Premier Doug Ford released information yesterday pertaining to the upcoming Provincial lockdown in an attempt to flatten the rising number of Covid-19 case the province has been experiencing. As you know our community has done extremely well through these difficult times by adhering to all safety measures and guidelines however with other regions of Ontario unable to do the same, the Premier’s only option is to impose province wide lockdowns that will become in effect Saturday December 26th at 12:01AM for 28 days which would bring us to January 23rd 2021.

At this time, I firmly believe that after the 28 days the lockdown over the community of Chatham-Kent, will be removed and we will again be able to offer the safe programming that you have come to expect from the Cyclones.

We will continue to plan for our phase 3 session which would have an effective start date of Sunday January 24th. All teams will be notified of Session 3 dates as well as pricing once we confirm ice availability with the Municipality.

The Chatham-Kent Cyclones Organization would like to thank everyone for their patience during this trying season and we hope that 2021 will bring us back to the game we love in a format that we can all recognize.

I’d like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanks,

Jack Brown
