Message From The Head Coach
I wanted to start off by thanking the Chatham-Kent Cyclones Organization for this opportunity. I have years experience coaching in the junior hockey ranks with the Chatham Maroons and Blenheim Blades. I personally have not been this excited for try-outs and a season to start in a very long time.
Hockey has given me so much in my life and I would not be the person I am today or where I am at today without the great sport of hockey. I look forward to working with this team and helping this group of young men achieve their hockey goals as well as helping them grow as individuals!
With that being said we are just over 2 weeks away from try-outs. We are looking at very competitive week long try-out so we need everyone to come prepared mentally and physically to give it their all! As the great Herb Brooks said "Not looking for the best players, looking for the right one!" so if you think you have something to offer and can help this team make sure you register for the try-outs and attend the mandatory checking clinic on April 22nd.
We have high expectations for this season and are looking for players who are passionate and committed to hockey. As a team we are all in this together from the coaching staff to players and parents and we need everyone going in the same direction, putting in the work and dedication to achieve what we have set forth to do.
