Organization for the 2023-24 Season.
In my hockey career as a player and coach I have been
fortunate to have had many experiences at various levels in Canada, the United
States and Internationally. From these experiences I have learned many
valuable lessons that I try to pass along to players to help them develop the
tools necessary to maximize their potential within the game and in life. I
believe that this process requires hard work but should also be fun so that the
players continue to develop a love for the game and respect for their teammates.
Prospective players for this team are expected to come to tryouts prepared and ready to compete. Player assessments will be based on several factors including skating, skills, work ethic, competitiveness, and attitude. A player’s ability to develop both individually, and within the team environment will be strongly considered. Players seeking to play at the AAA level should be prepared to make a full commitment to the team’s success, as well as their own. My philosophy focuses on both individual player development and team success. Practices and development sessions throughout the season will be focused on achieving both of these goals.
I expect a very competitive tryout process. Please check the Cyclones website to ensure that all the registration requirements have been met prior to arriving at tryouts. Also, please check the tryout schedule regularly as times are subject to change.
