Team Black evens the series
Team Black wasn't going to go down without a fight on Sunday and they clawed their way back into the series.

Cyclones hit the ice on a wintery day in the beautiful city of Chatham. Playing in front of an almost sold out crowd Team White started the way things finished off on the first day. Cobra Cassey got things started as he darted through Team Black and slid one home for a quick goal early in four on four action. Curdog Currie sniped one of two as he buried a rebound as White came down on a 3 on 1, then sniped another as he took a slick sauce pass from Sweet Mitt Hillsy in the neutral zone giving Team White a comfortable lead and the win in the first game of the day.

3 on 3 action began with Team White taking the early lead again. Boom Boom Rolo jumped into the play and followed up on a rebound. Team Black seemed to get their legs in this game and Dancin Rance Soney dazzled the crowd as he flew through Team White's defense finished with a sick little dangle of his own. Team Black quickly took the lead as Crazy Man Cullen Abbott found himself tapping his twig back door and finished off a nice little feed from the corner. Cobra Cassey buried another when he took a little chip pass from the Spazmanian Devil just outside of Team Black's zone and nodded things up at two. From this point the coach forgot to mark down who got the game winner from Team Black, however does know that Team Black was able to sneak another one pass Big Game Beeker and the day was tied.

Third and deciding game, saw the teams return to 4 on 4 action. The momentum continued for Team Black as Dancin Rance buried another on a twisted wrister. Dirty Dangles Driedger banged home another for Team Black in the slot and Crazy Legs Corneil finished off the scoring with a controversial goal from behind the goal line. Downtown Brown turned aside anything thrown his way and Team Black came out of the day with a victory and a chance to take home the coveted Cyclone Challenge Cup next Sunday.

Boys proceeded to put on their practice jerseys and began some inter-squad 5 vs 5 action. Some golden scoring chance emerged however Big Game Beeker and Downtown Brown both shut the door. Looking forward to next weekend's game and the chance for one team to hoist the cup.
