Team Black regroups after tough start to capture the Cyclone Challenge Cup.
Well game 2 started off the exact opposite way game 1 did. Team White was flying around like a Turkey trying to save his neck. Scoring started off with the Spazmanian Devil Paxton bank the puck off the back of the net to elude Team Black's defense then send a nifty little pass to Bam Bam Cam who stuffed it home. Team White kept it going with Speedy Gonzalez Riediger stepping over the blueline, letting one rip that went off the defenseman's stick to fool Downtown Brown. Crazy legs Corneil made it 3-0 and to cap it off Bam Bam sent a little sauce over to Big Willy Stylez who was waiting backdoor who made no mistake and finished off Team Black.
Team Black found a little more life in the second game and started to wake up. It was Crazy Legs Corneil again who picked the pocket of a player from Team Black like a thief at Mardi Gras, turn the puck back the other way and went in on a breakaway to give Team White the lead again. Team White made it 2-0 when the Spazmanian Devil found his brother streaking through the neutral zone after a nifty line change and Ebird pumped it home low glove. Team Black was finally able to solve Big Game Beeker who was looking like a Vezina goalie in the making. Eli Dirty Dangles Driedger found himself on the doorstep banging home a rebound and giving Team Black some life. Up next was a streaking Curdog Currie who flew into Team White's zone, kept his feet moving and went 5 hole to tie things up. The momentum for Team Black continued as Big Pappa Decook made a slick little drop pass to Bam Bam Rolo high in Team White's zone and a beauty little snapper put Team Black up 3-2. As time ticked away Team White put on some pressure and as Team Black became mesmerized by the puck Big Willy Stylez found himself in his office, back door just off the side of the net and tied the game 3-3.
Game 3 saw Team Black come out a little more hungry, and what seemed like his 50th shot of the day Greasy Wheelz Anderson finally solved Big Game Beeker and Team Black took an early lead. Greasy Wheelz wasn't finished there as he hit Dancin Rance Soney back door to give Team Black a 2-0 lead and a big "Let's Go" could be heard from Team Black's bench. Downtown Brown took over from there and shut the door on Team White helping Team Black earn a 2-0 win and a chance to win the "SHIP".
Final game of the day and with the momentum carrying over from the last game Team Black took over. Big Pappa Decook got things started with a twisted wrister. Next was Boom Boom Rolo firing a knuckle-puck shades of Tim Wakefield that fooled Big Game Beeker that slipped in short side. Greasy Wheelz then snuck in behind Team White and went to his patent backhand forehand move in tight sliding another one home for a 3-0 lead. Team White didn't stop working though and as Speedy Gonzalez found himself alone Downtown Brown was up for the challenge and turned him aside. To finish things off, Dirty Dangles Driedger found a gift in the slot and like cool whip on top of the pumpkin pie put the game out of reach giving Team Black a 4-0 win and the Cyclone Challenge Cup.
