Game 3
Team white captures the first ever Cyclone Challenge Cup

Well game three had everything the fans could have asked for. Sorry to those in attendance for charging full price per seat when all you needed was the edge.

Game one started off with Team Black coming out with a little more energy and team speed. Downtown Ryder Brown kept Team white in it early turning aside shot after shot. The puck must have looked like a beach ball to Rowen Big Game Verbeek as he turned away Team White's shots with ease. It was Sweet Mitts Hill getting Team Black on the board with a canon of a slapper that found the back of the net putting Team Black ahead. The Spazmanian Devil Paxton Mather pulled off the "Michigan" from the left side of the goal only to be stopped by the crossbar. Team Black was able to hold off any attempts by Team White and shut them out 1-0 to take game one.

Game two saw both teams provide a little more offence. Bam Bam Cam made a beautiful well placed shot low farside that came out of the net as fast as it went in which gave Team White a little more hop their step. Greasy Wheelz Anderson called his own number on a two on one and buried giving Team White a 2-0 lead. Team White wasn't finished there. Soon after Eli Dirty Dangles Driedger made a beautiful play in tight and went bardownski.  Not giving up Team Black stormed back and it was Dancin Rance Soney throwing a change-up that fooled Downtown Brown and put Team Black back in the game. Not long after, Team White gained the momentum back when it was Big Willy Stylez making a slick little pass to Ebird Mather who made no mistake in the slot and made the game 4-1. Speedy Gonzalez Riediger cut the lead in half after a heavy forecheck stripping Team White of the puck and sent a well placed shot into the cage. Team Black wasn't done there. Curdog Currie crashed the net and sniped bringing the game within reach. Fortunately for Team White the clocked ticked away before Team Black could tie it and the day was 1-1.

Back to 4 on 4 action and both teams tightened up defensively. Goalies looked real sharp in this one once again. Big Willy Stylez came down with a serious case of danglitus, made a sick move in the slot and made no mistake slipping one by Big Game Beeker. A few minutes went by with back and forth action that put the goalies on display again highlighting their talents. Old Sweet Mitts Hill found himself with the puck and some time and again blasted one top coco. As time ran off the clock Big Pappa Decook raced down the ice, stepped over the blueline and let go a hammer of a slapshot only to be half of a second to late. Game three ended in a 1-1 tie meaning the series would be decided in the last game.

Game 4 was intense and fast. Both teams were flying knowing they each had the opportunity to hoist the Cyclone Cup. Team Black took the early lead as Crazy Legs Corneil went short side shelf from in tight that had the makings of the highlight of the night. Team White seemed unfazed going down by one and soon after Bam Bam Cam made a strong move out of the corner and buried far side to tie game 4. Both teams worked tirelessly trying to better each other however couldn't end the series in regulation. That's right WE NEEDED OVERTIME. 2 vs 2 OVERTIME!

Lots of ice, tons of speed and fast paced action is what was on display during the overtime. Unfortunately for the fans overtime didn't last long. At the end of a long shift Boom Boom Rolo found himself all alone with the puck barreling down one Big Game Beeker. A perfectly placed shot blocker side, over the pad tickled the twine and Team White flooded the ice to celebrate. A fantastic ending to a great series.
