The End of The Season
The 2014/15 Hockey Season has come to an end for the 99 Cyclones. It was a season that had many tough games, injuries and some disappointment, but also a season of Friendship.
This TEAM of players continued to fight, right through to the last second of the last game. They learned to work as a TEAM and were successful in showing what they were made of in the Playoffs. Although the scoreboard showed many losses, this group of players maintained a positive attitude, continued to encourage their teammates and walk out of the change room as a TEAM. Their Captain, Kier Cumming, really stepped up over the past couple of months and encouraged them to be positive and give their best, every time.
Many players from other teams and many adults could learn from these young men. They know what it is like to lose, they know what it takes to not blame others for those losses and they know what it takes to not quit and give up. Valuable "Life Lessons" that will take them far.
The dedication, skill, patience and fun that Kent and Lonnie provided to this team of players is very much appreciated by all. Any team would be grateful to have them as Coaches.
Best of luck to all of the Players in their Hockey endeavors going forward. Maintain a positive attitude and continue to work hard and opportunities will present themselves.
