Chicago Bauer Tournament
A tale of two teams!
From the start it looked to be one of those break out weekends, but alas it wasn't meant to be.... with a blazing 6-1 victory over Kensington Valley, who landed up advancing, the boys slipped back into the cold for a couple games. After a little sole searching they bounced back to take their final outing 5-2 and set a team tone that wasn't seen as of yet... Positioning and passing came together well, and guys like Alex shined through with a stelar presence/confidence for the weekend!
For the funny files: Frenchie took the title for hockey touchdowns for the weekend, putting the puck consistently into the glass (many feet above the net in some cases) and Rino has officially understood that breaking finger bones on both hands is a bad idea, blocking a shot with the his left hand after busting a finger in his right!
All in all a good weekend and one where the team has shown higher than ever team spirit!
Good job boys/parents at making this recent experience better than the last!
PS: K-Dog.... get your own peanut butter cups next game.... I'm eating them all next time!
